When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, message and the interface language you were using, so that we can answer your enquiry.

Our legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and, where applicable, that the processing is necessary to take steps you requested before entering into a contract.

Your message is delivered to our team by email through our SMTP email provider, which acts as our processor. We do not store contact-form submissions in a website database.

We keep the resulting email only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up.

We use your IP address transiently for security and abuse prevention, such as rate-limiting repeated submissions; it is held in memory for up to 10 minutes. Your IP address may also appear in standard server and reverse-proxy logs, as is normal for any website.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including transport encryption and a content security policy that blocks third-party scripts and trackers by default.

Where our email or infrastructure providers process data outside your country, we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to receive an appropriate level of protection.

Depending on where you are based, you may have rights under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 — including the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to our processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, such as South Africa's Information Regulator.
